M. Sivadas joined as faculty member in Thavanoor institute, Kerala in 1968. In 1971 he was appointed as Labour Officer in the Department of Labour Government of Kerala and retired from service as Additional Labour Commissioner in 1997. He is the founder Director of ILM, former Industrial Relation Consultant, HLL and former executive secretary of Indian Council of Social Welfare (Kerala). As expert in labour laws and H.R Management M. Sivadas extend consultancy service to various public and private sector organizations.
Anil Narayan a qualified labour laws consultant and advocate has over 30 years of experience in Labour Law Consultancy and hands on experience as Industrial Relations Manager, Legal Manager and Personnel Manager for a host of multinational and domestic firms. He also served as the Asst. Provident Fund Commissioner to the Government of India and also as Labour Enforcement Officer for the Kerala State Labour Department. His vivid experience in management, labour laws and as a lawyer in High Court ,Labour Courts/ Industrial Tribunals drives the vision for Anil Associates in balancing the legal compliance requirements and the business needs of clients.
Post graduate in Economics, Tourism management and Rural Development, Vijayakumar took degree of M.Phil and Ph.d in Tourism from University of Kerala. He also holds Diploma in Education and Toruism Studies. He joined the Collegiate Education Department of Kerala as faculty in Economics in 1981. From 2007 to 2017 he served as Principal Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel studies(KITTS). He also served as visiting faculty in tourism in university of Kerala for seven years. He is Accredited Management Teacher and life member of All India Management Association, International Institute of Adult and Lifelong Education, Institute of Labor and Management, expert member of various committees of State Planning Board, post graduate Board of Studies in Tourism of Central University Puducherry and Anna University of Chennai and support for statistical strengthening project Kerala. He also served as chairman Board of Studies, member of faculty in Management and Social sciences, University of Kerala.
As a researcher, trainer, consultant and policymaker he has contributed 12 research projects, published 25 books in Economics and Tourism, 20 research articles in various national and international journals. He has presented paper in more than 80 national and international conferences. He is recipient of national award for best research work in 2003. He has co-ordinated more than 300 training programmes for self help groups and employees of various Organizations / Departments / Institutions. He has extended consultancy services to Government departments, Local self governments, other Government agencies and Private sector. He was also the drafting committee memeber of the Kerala Tourism policy 2012. His area of expertise includes Sustainable Development, Responsible Tourism, Ideation and Entrepreneurship development and Management and planning of Higher Education.
A post graduate in Journalism and Diploma holder in Public Relation, Ramachandran started his career as Sub Editor of "Thekkan katt", a Malayalam Daily for 3 years. He then joined the Public Relations Department of Kerala and retired as District Information Officer, Kollam. He is currently the Assistant Director of Institute of Labour and Management. He is also visiting faculty in Journalism at A J College, Thonnakkal and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Dr. S. N. Kumar started his career as geological assistant in the ground water department, Government of Kerala in 1982 and joined the Collegiate Education Department as faculty in Geology in 1985 and retired as Professor from Department of Geology, University of Kerala. In between he was appointed as Joint Commissioner, Entrance Examination, Kerala and Director of School of Earth System. He is chairman/mentor of various educational bodies in Universities within Kerala and outside. He is a resource person/consultant to various public and private sector organizations and academic institutions. His area of interest includes Geoscience, Personality and Career Development. He has published research articles in three international and seven national journals.
Dr. P. Krishna Kumar is Hon. Associate Professor, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He is the former Head of the post graduate department of Economics, Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram. His areas of research includes, poverty, decentralized planning and welfare economics. He worked as Assistant Professor in Mecale University, Ethiopia, under the UNDP. He is a life member of the Indian Institute of Public Administration and Kerala Economic Association. He had published several research articles and had completed several project works sponsored by reputed research institutions. Dr. Kumar who has 41 years of teaching experience, currently teaches economics in Kerala Law Academy, Law College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Mr. Saroop Roy B.R. took his Master Degree in Tourism Administration (MTA) from University of Kerala after finishing his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Started his career in tourism field as a trainee at Thenmala Ecotourism Promotion Society (TEPS) in 2000, he was the Kerala Co-ordinator of EQUATIONS, a Bangalore based research, campaign and advocacy organization on tourism policies and issues for 8 years. In 2010, he moved to the tourism academic field as faculty MBA (Tourism) at the Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK) under University of Kerala. In 2011, he joined KITTS as Assistant Professor in Travel and Tourism. His expertise includes areas in tourism policy formulation, ecotourism, responsible tourism, rural tourism and community linked tourism projects. He is also currently the Co-ordinator of Centre for Responsible Tourism at KITTS.
During his tenure at EQUATIONS, he participated in the SBSTTA 13 Meeting of the Convention on Biological Diversity held at Rome in February 2008. He also led the Indian delegation of Ecotourism practitioners to attend the South African and Indian Practitioners’ Workshop to exchange lessons and best practices on using Nature Tourism as a force for Poverty Alleviation at Johannesburg in May 2008. He was also the resource person at various sessions on Institution Building for Sustainable Tourism & Livelihoods, organized by UNDP at IRMA, Anand as part of the Endogenous Tourism Project in 2006 and 2008. He participated and presented papers at various international forums including the "Canopy Tourism: Concept & Practice in the Indian Context," at the 5th International Canopy Conference in October 2009, Bangalore and made key note presentation on Environmental Responsibility at the International Conference on Responsible Tourism – Looking Back. Moving Ahead - held at Kumarakom in June 2013.
He has played a significant role in the formulation and implementation of the Responsible Tourism Initiative in state. On the policy front, he was the drafting committee member of the Kerala Tourism Policy 2012, Revamping of Homestay Classification Scheme for Kerala 2015 and preparation of Charter for Green Carpet initiative for Kerala Tourism 2016.
He co-authored the book "An Introduction to business of tourism" published by SAGE India in May 2017 bringing out various dimensions of tourism with an academic perspective. He also co-authored the books "Tourism and Livelihood - Selected Experiences from Kerala" in 2011 bringing out the various responsible tourism initiatives in the state as well as "A Case Study on Kumarakom" in 2013. The co-authored paper "Community Based Tourism Business in Kumarakom – A Case Study of Innovative Products and Experiences" was selected for presentation at the 2nd UNWTO Knowledge Network Global Forum held at Mexico in 2014.
